thanks, it sure clarifies things.. and from what I read, these applications work in parallel. RFE on one application has no efffect on the other one. you just have to wait for one of them to come through, mostly probably EB1A. once you get approved on EB1A, they will cancel the remaining 2 applications. Yesterday i got my receipt i check the status online the status is saying

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Fingerprint fee rejected and notice mailed; case in suspense.
On August 21, 2007, we rejected your fingerprint fee and mailed you instructions for how to submit the necessary payment. This case is now in suspense.
Please submit your payment with our notice as soon as possible after you receive our notice so we may resume processing of this case.
But USCIS cashed my checks i didn't know what went worng the total amount i paid is 325+70,170,180.
Did any guys get same kind of problem?

School can't force her to continue on F1 visa. Only thing she need to send school is her copy of pending I-485 receipt and thats it.

You can fill the form I-639 and send it to the address provided in the form to get the copies. But I am not sure how long it take to get the copy.

A few days I called Comcast to disconnect CNN and CNN headlines from my cable. The Comcast representative was surprised as to why I want to cut CNN. She transferred me to her supervisor. The supervisor noted down my complaint and said that he will get back to me in 3 business days. Next day I got a call from Comcast that they will block CNN entirely from my cable. I thanked them as I will not have bigotry coming into my house anymore.

When is the last case for EB2 India approved?Just wanted to know the priority date of it.Mine is June 2006 EB2 when can i get my GC?Any guess?

My priority date is EB3 (August 2005). Last week her status changed to following. The thing is I checked with my lawyer & my employer and both said that they never received any RFE or never responded anything for my wife to USCIS.

Should there not be a separate Green card quota for anyone with a USA Masters Degree in any field?
If USA does that, more people will pay to come to study in USA. Not go to Australia, UK etc to study. So more money to USA. And USA degree holders will be able to use this education and work in USA to improve USA economy. If they go back to their countries, then USA has brain drain.

I have US Masters and my job requires EB3 classification. I am a honors student with full scholarship ( for people who think having a masters makes them special).

This means that even for applicants for whom PD is current today for eg: EB2 ROW, will not be able to apply for concurrent I-140/I-485, if this rule is accepted.
Due to the retrogession,we cant file 140/485 concurrently till PD is current.
Please explain what this means?

Here is my situation, someone please suggest me:
I am using EAD to work for my GC sponsoring company and I got laid off. My HR says that they are going to inform USCIS that I am no longer working for them. HR also says that they won’t cancel my approved I-140 and going to rehire me once I get the new project.
My question:
When I joined them there is information to USCIS.I just filled I-9 form and gave it to the company, no information to USCIS. Now when I got terminated what is the need for the company to inform this to USCIS? Anyhow I am going to join them once I get the new project in couple of months. Is it a new law? Will there be any problem at the POE if travel outside US and come back using AP? Is there any chance that USCIS sends me RFE?

If you are not on H1 there is no reason to inform the USCIS. Make sure that they are not including your I-140 receipt number or A#.
Actually informing that you do not have a job is sufficent to revoke your I-140.

I received the Approval notice on Aug 14th. Nothing after that. I never missed any mail from USCIS till now.
There no other status change between Initial Review and Post Decision Activity.
I have Infopass appt next week. Let me see if they have any info on this.

100% of the calls to today's program were from anti-H1B people. Not 1 call supported the H1Bs. If corporates are supporting more GCs for us, and since the fate of H1B/Employment GCs is linked, we ought to support H1B legislation.

Which attorney is charging that much to file for H1??
I had to edit it...since 6 of them got the H1...so, its 22 -6 = 16
32,000/16 = $2000.00 (attorney fees) I don't believe you!!! Mr Desi Company Owner.
